Have I done something undoable that would prevent my laptop from having TPM 2. The system also cannot detect the previous TPM 2.0 it had before- i checked tpm.msc using Windows+R. Now even when Secure Boot is enabled in the BIOS, the Windows 11 installer cannot proceed. Then I pressed enter on the following not knowing what it would do: On my Acer Nitro 515-52 laptop, I've set a supervisor password in the BIOS so the Secure Boot options would be editable.

I'm not that familiar with TPM yet, so I tinkered with the options so I can install Windows 11 (I have a Windows 10 key and could have just upgraded but I wanted a clean install.) This is a very nice forum here.I've read everything I can online so in my futile struggle, I've decided to post here for help. Get any better than this I will be royaly P-O'd.!!!īTW, hope I haven't come on too strong on my first post. I haven't been able to use this unit at all and it's really depressing me. Move it, except for near center where it's sloppy and loose as a goose. It feels like you're grinding rocks when you The movement of the stick itself is NOT smooth in the least. Main Joystick will move in the same pattern, ie it replicates the movement of the Hat-switch.
If I move the Hat-switch below the Mini-Stick the It stays off center to the north-west quadrant. If I move the "Mini-Stick" this doesn't happen but it doesn't return to the center of the (see attached Image) Ive tried Reinstalling the latest Drivers, checked DirexX, Clean boot, disable. My Throttle calibration is stillĪlso, when I "Test" the Joystick if I click any of the buttons on the stick it will jump around like mad, vibrate, DirectX function 'mdevice->CreateQuery (&desc,&query->mslots slotlt)' Faild with DXGIERRORDEVICEREMOVED ('The video card has been physically removed from the system or a driver upgrade for the video card has occured. Over and over with both 5.06 and 5.07 and it just doesn't work for me. I have tried the solution DavidWA posted at the link above (including using the "Clear Calibration" tool) The Cougar (at least in stock configuration) often suffers from workmanship factors and shoddy components (which may be prone to failure after months or years of use) where as the G940 long-term reliability is unknown at this point. The Foxy software of the Cougar appears to be better suited to advanced scripting tasks than the G940 Profiler. The G940 stuff is mostly tough plastic as well and the switches are plastic except in a few places. Play also does not develop in the stick or throttle of the G940 as with the Cougar and you do not have to correct the tension problem as you do with a stock Cougar throttle. Unless you set centering force very high in the Logitech Game Control software, the main proprioceptive effect is that the Cougar is much stiffer (at least in stock configuration). The main difference is the centering force of the G940 versus the tight springs of the Cougar. Probably been asked before (but I missed it) how does the G940 compare with the Cougar? PS the move from 5.06 and 5.07 did cause a 2nd bug with the install so I had to remove 5.07 and clean up the Reg again and install 5.07 again and plugged in the stick and it setup on the 1st try.

And here is how we fixed the 64 bit issue. " Robert " and he helped me fix what was wrong. I was able to talk to my very smart friend Looky from Ireland. Should have know due to many 64bit MOMO users had this bug too. Ya before I read this it was the Registry issue. The setup prompted me to uninstall the 5.05's I had for my G-25 so that's what I did and everything has been OK so far barring the legacy support.

It appears to me that your old drivers for your MOMO might be a cause for concern, especially if you did NOT uninstall the legacy software.

Otherwise google up how to remove them from the registry, re-boot and re-install those 5.07's "before" connecting the G940. Not sure if DriverCleaner or Driver Sweeper have controller software removal, but it might be worth checking out. I'm not sure but an uninstall of ALL logi software and related registry entries might do the trick. It really looks like a borked driver install to me based on what you describe over there.
Just saw your post over at the logi forums.
